Here is the official trailer for the first batch of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DLC, entitled “Dawnguard.” Bethesda put out the trailer today and says to expect it sometime this summer for the price of $20. Don’t freak out, because the increase in cost is normal for these guys, if Oblivion is a point of comparison. You can expect your money’s worth since they tend to build huge expansions for the Elder Scrolls games. Actually, I believe it is more apt to call this an expansion, as opposed to DLC.
It involves a race of vampires who are fighting for dominance over those very “scrolls,” and the player will have the choice of either joining their sun hating cause, or fighting alongside the group of individuals who are out to stop them, the titular Dawnguard. I must say, the leader of the blood suckers that narrates the trailer makes a convincing case to join his club. Either way, I will buy this, you will buy this, and it will be awesome, because it has players flying around as human bats, crossbows, dark and scary environments, and the fact that it is Skyrim.
