A day in the life of Jay-z…we cannot even fathom it kids. Net worth of around 500 mill, arguably the king of rap, part owner of an NBA franchise, and he “got the hottest chick in the game wearing his chain”, the guy has everything!! So why is he now being credited as executive producer of NBA 2k13? First thought after I read that was “Oh, he’s just handling the soundtrack”. Check out the track listing below and you know for sure Shawn Carter waved his hand over this one.

There’s more to his role in helping make the number #1 basketball game for the majority of the last 10 years. Vice President of Marketing at 2K, Jason Argent, tells us how Jay-z feels about his level of involvement in the project “’Look, I love this franchise and I love this game, but if you want me to be involved, I need to be truly involved. I want to actually help make this game” I swear this guy doesn’t sleep. Besides Argent’s interview with Billboard, 2K is keeping their lips shut on how far Jay’s involvement will go. NBA 2k13 was a pick up for me in the first place; this just offers a level of assurance that the quality will still be stellar.
