Nintendo dates Paper Mario, delays Luigi’s Mansion

Nintendo has announced on this beautiful Monday morning two things: one is good, one is not. First, they have dated Paper Mario: Sticker Star for the 3DS, which will be coming out in North America on November 11th. I sincerely doubt I will be picking this up and beating it 5 days after Halo 4 comes out and 2 days before Call of Duty Black Ops II drops, but I guess someone out there will buy it. *shrugs*

The bad news is the kicker, though. Arguably (at least in my opinion) the more interesting of the two releases in this post, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, has been delayed into the nebulous cloud of “the first half of 2013.” I refuse to believe anything that Nintendo says anymore, because frankly I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this game at 2, maybe 3 consecutive E3′s at this point, and it was supposed to come out during the holidays after the first one. It’s been years, people. Any interest or excitement I once had for these games that keep failing to come out…poof. Watch me trade that sucker in after I beat New Super Mario Bros 2. Watch me. Handhelds are dead.

Anybody super pumped, super bummed, or just really lacking in emotions at all? Check out the source link below for an updated Holiday lineup Nintendo put out via a press release.

Super Paper Mario 2? I wasn’t excited until I found out I will now have something to play while I’m in line at the COD Black Ops 2 midnight launch. What happens after that is anyone’s guess!

You really gonna drop $40 on Paper Mario after $60 on Halo then another $60 on Black Ops? Lol more power to you if that’s your plan man, I just gotta see that to believe it. Plus you didn’t watch that E3 3DS presser did you? Paper Mario demo was like 20 mins long and was the equivalent to a sleeping pill after a bottle of Jack.
