So apparently gamers aren’t the only ones dissatisfied with the recent direction of the Silent Hill series, as developer/demigod Hideo Kojima expresses how he would love to see Silent Hill running in his proprietary FOX Engine.
Statements from the acclaimed Metal Gear mastermind vary from being ["envious"] of the “closed room” environments in Silent Hill games, to “wishing” that someone would use FOX Engine to develop a Silent Hill title.
I don’t know what to say or do first after hearing this, but I do know that if anyone can restore gory glory to Silent Hill it is Kojima-San. Start a petition, email your Congressman, and send Kojima love letters and chocolates; we need this to happen. Like, yesterday.
